Reaserch And Application Of ZigBee Protocol Stack Based On CC2430

As one of the technologies that have a huge influence over the21st century, wireless sensor network technology has become a research hotspot of cutting-edge technology in today’s world. As its mainstream protocol, ZigBee is also attracted much attention. ZigBee technology is a wireless communication technology and has been widely used in people’s production and life because of its low-rate, low-power, low-cost features.As a basis for using ZigBee technology, studying the ZigBee protocol specification is an essential part. But at present most of the domestic ZigBee technology is the practical application and analysis of the ZigBee protocol stack itself is less involved. The paper combines theoretical research and practical applications, analyzes the principle of ZigBee protocol, gives ZigBee specific instance and hopes to provide a reference for other ZigBee researchers.The paper starts with ZigBee technology, introduces its origin and unique nature, and analyzes three aspects of its status quo at home and abroad, including the ZigBee hardware, the ZigBee software and the ZigBee practical application. For IEEE802.15.4standard and ZigBee2006protocal specification, the paper analyzes the physical layer, the medium access control layer, the network layer, the application layer and the security layer, mainly including the reference model of each layer and the main function realization. For the limitation of the LEACH protocol which is widely used in the wireless sensor networks, the paper performs a new cluster head election mechanism to prolong the network lifetime. Finally, Combined with TI’s CC2430chip and Z-Stack protocol stack, the paper analyzes the implementation process of Z-Stack and introduces a simple temperature acquisition program.
