Warehouse management refers to the storage of goods carried in a unified, efficientmanagement. It is also a series of organized, effective control, and planned coordinationprocess carried on by the storage sector using their own storage resources in order to getefficient warehousing services. How to fast, accurately, efficiently and comprehensivelygrasp specific information of the materials in the warehouse, and to store large amounts ofinformation generated and transmitted by system, has become a key factor by which abusiness management take the head and win in the competition. The key of this paper is todesign a system to position accurately the goods in the warehouse and to collect real-time andto manage information of the materials.This paper studied and designed the intelligent storage management system based onZigBee technology. The key technology ZigBee is fit for the applications in which thetransfer rate between datas is lower and the device-power is smaller, so it is particularlysuitable for small electronic devices and for wireless information data transmission withcomplex indoor environments. And its unique transmission data types are intermittent data,repeat low-latency data and periodic data. This paper introduced ZigBee technology into thestorage system, while data fusion technology was joined into the wireless network consistedof ZigBee devices.For the physical environment in the storage,in aspects of hardware circuit design,CC2430chip was selected as the main chip in the system design, and focused on the RFmodule to the CC2430chip as the core, the data acquisition module consisted oftemperature-humidity sensor SHT15and MMA7260and the location offset detection moduleof the goods. In aspects of software design, in the IAR Embedded Workbench environment,network build of the network coordinator and program running were achieved byprogramming and debugging. Program the access to the terminal equipment and the networkjoin. The terminal node can run its own program in the protocol stack and real-time collecttemperature-humidity and other data around storage ambient, then the collected datainformation was transmitted to the coordinator through a wireless sensor network. and senddata to the PC whose monitor screen was designed by using Delphi7.0and SQLServer2000database, and achieve basically the entire warehouse management system monitoring anddata storage.Finally, the paper tested the system’s overall functionality under the test environment built. Then the datas generated by the entire ZigBee storage network were optimized throughdata fusion method. The experiment showed that the system could meet the designrequirements and achieved the entire intelligent storage system monitoring. At the same timea summary and evaluation of the paper work was proposed, and pointed out the direction offuture research work.While for the lack in the experiment, indicated the research directions ofthe system for future work.
