With the development of infrared technology and computer technology, infrared image simulation has become an important research subject. Based on the inversing theory of the measured data and the particle system theory, an infrared image simulation method for trail flame is studied.Firstly, the measured data of the trail flame is calibrated and the inversion model is constructed, based on which the real radiation data with the imaging system and the atmosphere effect removed is obtained. Then, based on deeply studying traditional particle system and the initialization and update arithmetic of particle properties,combining the measured data inversing theory, an infrared image simulation method for trail flame is given. The basic idea is that associating particle's color property with the result of measured data inversing, and realizing the atmosphere effect and dithering effect during rendering process. Finally, according to the infrared image simulation method for trail flame studied by this paper, under the platform of VC++.Net, infrared image simulation software for trail flame is developed by using DirectX and programmable rendering pipeline technology. The simulation results show that the studied simulation method in this paper is of high reliability, fidelity and real-time performance. |
