With the development of infrared technology and computer technology, the simulation of infrared decoy has become an important research topic. According to the physical model of infrared decoy and particle system, the paper makes a dynamic modeling of decoys, simulates the motion state of infrared decoys, the burning trail of smoke and the interference effects.Firstly, the basic principle of infrared decoy Interference infrared imaging guided weapons and decoy targets are analyzed. Motion model and trajectory equations are made when infrared decoy is launched. Infrared radiation characteristics model of infrared decoy is made. The dynamic decoy is simulated by the combination of billboard texture mapping technology and particle modeling. The calculated data of the physical model of decoy is imported into the texture channels by programming rendering With VC + + software platform and the OGRE rendering engine, quantified and exported. The curve of radiation intensity versus time is made by decoy infrared radiation measured data. the one-dimensional texture gray scale map of radiation intensity versus temperature is made by program. The change of the decoy radiation character is perfectly simulated. Finally, the source of OGRE particle system is modified to change the motion state of the infrared decoy according to the needs of project for controlling artificially at any time. The influence of the wind is initially implemented in the combustion process of decoy.
