Research And Construction Of The Cooperative Partner Selective Knowledge Management System

The virtual enterprise's (VE) theory was just produced under the great backgrounds of the knowledge economy, cybereconomy and knowledge management. Constructing a VE is an effective way in which a lot of enterprises realize rapid and progressive development. The partner selection is essential to construct a VE, and it directly decides the VE's final success or failure. How to quickly choose cooperative partners with low cost and low risk becomes the primary problem.As a new management method, knowledge management is a hot study spot in recent years.At present, the experts and scholars do a little research on establishing a knowledge management system to support the partner selection. This paper focuses on how to construct a cooperative partner selective knowledge management system.On the base of introducing the concepts of knowledge, knowledge management and knowledge management system, this paper focuses on the content of knowledge base, and researches the links between knowledge management system and information management system. These are the theoretical foundation of constructing knowledge management system. This paper outlines the necessity of virtual enterprise, analyzes advantages of the virtual partner, researches the various kinds of partner selective methods (Analytic Hierarchy Process method, Genetic Algorithm, Agent method and Neural Network method, etc.) which are popular at present and analyzes their advantages and deficiencies.Then the knowledge management system of cooperative partner selection is constructed. The system implements the management functions of enterprise knowledge base, expert information base and partner cooperative method base. With the cooperative partner selective knowledge management system, enterprise can select the best cooperative partner.
