With the rapid development of economy and the deepening of innovation for the mineral resource management system in our country, gangue re-use and efficient processing have become the focus of management of mining-related sectors. Along with the continuously development of the people's cognition to the value of gangue, gangue manage with decision-making have become more and more difficult and the extent of the information share has been comparatively dropped behind. So in order to provide decision-making service for the effective use of gangue, it is significant to build a web digital information system which is in high information share.Under the guidance of software engineering ideas, used a set of modern information technologies, such as WebGIS, Web Services, Asp.net, database etc., take Golden Capital—Zhaoyuan as an example, constructed a digital information system based on WebGIS for golden gangue administration information system. A helpful study of key technologies and methods for system development was taken, and this is a successful combination of modern information techniques with golden gangue management.In the society of GIS developing at very fast speed, network-trend of GIS are gradually obvious. The server technology of GIS that idea develops owing to Web Services already becomes the leader trend of GIS developing. It chooses the enterprise level GIS server platform- ArcGIS Server platform that is able to bring maximum WebGIS technology advantage produced by ESRI; draw support from (ArcSDE) the space data base engine , the space data and the attribute data is stored equally in SQL Server relation type data base, the integrated structure realizing a data manages; the customer adopts the portable Internet Explore browser to carry out the data visit; system chooses VB.NET owing to the Asp.net framework and implantation dyadic JSP language to develop in order to carry out the development display of map and the visited data each other; in the process of data organization, the data changing and map polishing make use of many GIS software, such as AutoCAD, MapGIS, ArcGIS Desktop. Ultimate results are these documents about gangue current situation, landform and mineral resources conservation, the plan picture, and so on.Firstly, the study background and significance was discussed, application current situation and the deficiency studying in managing of gangue management in the GIS technology of home and abroad were introduced. The content studying and purpose were pertinence suggested.Secondly, Key technology in process has carried out a summary on system develop. WebGIS technology concept and main characteristic were introduced, system and characteristic of Web Services idea, Asp.net technology, VB.NET language, ADO.NET technology were summarized.Thirdly, the requirement and the overall design of this system are analyzed, then the author expounds the design thought and the technology route of the system, and also research method of this system, the system framework, exploitation environment, developing mode, database design are described in detail. Then the main function of the five modules and implement method and technology were set forth in detail.At last, after the main characteristic of the system is summarized, the shortage of this system is brought forward, and the application foreground of the system is prospected.
