Research On The Forewarning System Of Cathodic Protection In Lan-Cheng-Yu Product Pipeline

Focusing on"Lan-Cheng-Yu Product Pipeline"operated by Lan-Cheng-Yu Pipeline Branch Company, the ineffective potential protection is analysesd in the cathodic protection(CP) system of active pipeline,then the higher risk segments are founded in this paper. Thus it is benifical to pertinently maintain in advance, prevent the possible accidents damage , to provide reliable information for managers'decision support .Furthermore, it is helpful to promote the management quality on the pipeline critical parts under cathodic protection, enhance the benefit of cathodic protection.After gathering pipeline initial data(pipeline basic information, diameter, centerline alignment,coating parameters),design materials of CP test station, pipeline construction records etc, then collecting and categorizing the potential data of CP, the author develop a data analysis and management software according with the field actual status. This software can record the CP potential data of the whole pipeline operated by the Lan-Cheng-Yu Pipeline Branch Company, analyse the protection potential of CP system in the active pipeline by using condition search query and curve diagram, directly display the ineffective protection status on the screen at real time.The B/S infrastructure is adopted in this system, the database server, web server and client side browser together constitute running platform.The web server is Microsoft's IIS5.0, the Microsoft's ASP technology is used in web application, and the IE6.0 is used in client side. With the help of these environment, the protection potential of product pipeline CP data management,query,and analyse system has been developed. The authorization management function is provided in this system,each department can only input the CP protection potential data operated by its own. Meanwhile, it can provide convenient data update and directly applied data statistical analyisis interface,can maintain other pipeline basic data relative with CP potential data and statistical analyisis function. Furthermore, the client user can operate,manage the data at any PC,thus it is easy to implement. Thus , this system has stronger adaptability, migratebility,reliablity and flexibility.
