The reliability and life of the natural gas gathering pipeline system is influenced mainly by the corrosion. According to the static data,external corrosion is an important gradient contribute to the disruption of the pipeline. So the corrosion control detecting and cathodic protection of the pipeline are not only important measures of the pipeline's efficient management but also are critical to guarantee for pipeline's operation.Cathodic protection of the natural gas pipeline is a means of protecting the pipeline against corrosion through impressed current or joint the pipeline with metal or compound metal which with lower electric potential as positive electrode. So that the pipeline's corrosion rate can be eliminated or limited because of the measures make the pipeline's negative pole polarized. The measure that usually use is a way to limit the pipeline's corrosion rate,the way is joint the pipeline with the negative pole of power source,electric current is supplied by the power source.The natural of cathodic protection's goal is validity of the electric potential's testing technique and the scientific data analysis method. If the pipeline's polarization potential or un-polarization potential can be tested directly,the pipeline's electric potential can be controlled easily. Sometimes. the pipeline which has been protected by cathodic protection also can be eroded significantly,the mainly reason is cathodic protection's failure. The mainly reason is the failure of cathodic protection.According to the cathodic protection of serviced pipeline and related data,this thesis analyzes the potential owe protection of the system of pipeline's cathodic protection,then obtains pipe section with higher risk,and maintains and prevents pertinently the possible accident loss in advance, which is helpful to promote the management quality of important pipeline nodes and increase the work sufficiency of cathodic protection. The development and application of the involved software provide reliable basis for management.Combined with related corrosion data of serviced pipeline, this thesis takes the B/S structure as a basis and uses modern means such as ASP,web 6.0 and so on to design and develop software MCPP(Management Software for Cathodic Protection Potential of Nature Gas Pipeline),which is suitable in the actual pipeline,and put forward the reasonable suggestion for future work.
