Corrosion is the key factor of Pipeline system reliability and life. The various risks of Pipeline Corrosion have restricted the transport of oil and gas. The Joint protection of external protective layer and Cathodic Protection has become the recognized measure of controlling underground metal pipeline electrochemical corrosion. External protective layer of Pipeline is the main antisepsis measures. As a complementary measure of corrosion protective layer, Cathodic Protection provides electrochemical protection for the outer surface of pipelines.At present, of most domestic underground pipelines, Cathodic Protection Potential is still using the manual detection. Not only inconvenient but also easily to cause error operation. To solve this problem, Wireless Collection System of Pipeline Cathodic Protection Potential has been designed, which is based on MSP430 MCU, CC1101 RF transceiver and ARM. This paper depicts the overall design framework of the wireless Collection System, introduces the hardware design of Low-power Field Collection Instrument and Vehicle Instrument, and describes the system-related software design of low power consumption.The practical test shows, system signal detection has characteristics of stability and accuracy, further processes measured Cathodic Protection Potential data, achieves the expected design requirements.
