Electrochemical Machining (ECM) is important branch of the non-traditional machine, it be used in machining of some material with high strength, high degree of hardness and toughness, and it can be used in machining of complex profile, cavity, part with thin wall and Irregular Holes. During 50years development, ECM has become very advanced; it has been the key technology of mechanism manufacture. The DJK3225 Horizontal ECM Tool mainly is suitable for machining of deep hole machining and drill out machining of the tubular work piece in the raised hole and irregular hole.The work of this project is developing high performance control system which based on ECM Machine Tool point and craftwork requirement. The concrete work and innovated production as follows:(1) In the foundation of analysis of ECM Machine Tool control function request, put forward the PLC control system solution. It guarantees the tool's reliability, and it will be advantageous for the next function expansion and the improvement.(2) Combined the control request, completed the hardware design and the software design of PLC control system.(3) In order to display system statue, alarm information and reduce the I/O count out and get operation and maintain convenient, choose the industry touch screen as the HMI.(4)Realized the high speed count compare of cathode servo control system with the interruption, it highly elevation the CPU using rate of PLC, shorten the respond time of the whole control system.(5)Through research the stability and arithmetic relation of the two output of PLC, successful realized the synchronous and accurate display of hold box and touch Screen.The main axle feed system of the tool is half closed-loop control system which composed by the exchange servo motor, the ball screw units and the programmable logical controller (PLC), PLC technology and touch Screen technology combined achieved high capability control system and flexibility. The success of the system research has important significance of the improvement of ECM productivity and machine precision, it has highly extended apply value as well.
