Glass fiber reinforced plastics is one of the excellent composite material. For having a lotof excellence, the application of glass fiber reinforced plastics has been extended to watertreatment products. It can twine the products to form protective containment, so the productswould not be out of shape and damaged by the hydraulic pressure. The wrapping machine ofglass fiber reinforced plastics is the key equipment to prepare these protective containment. Forits property concerns the results of molding, it will affect the quality of water treatmentproducts.The main contents of this work are summarized as follows. Based on the characteristic ofmotion control, winding accuracy and winding law of the wrapping machine of glass fiberreinforced plastics, combined with request of craftsmanship of the protective containment, wedesigned a electric control system of winding machine with high precision, which consisted ofMitsubishi PLC and Mitsubishi register control FX2N-20GM as hard core control part, servosystem and pneumatic element as actuating device, touch screen as human-computer interactioninterface and electromechanical integration technology as basic. Because of the advantage ofPLC and register control FX2N-20GM in management, the amount of exercise of operation ofPLC was transferred to register control FX2N-20GM, by making full use of the strong logiccontrol, data operation of PLC, and the pinpoint control of register control FX2N-20GM. Thewrapping machine was equipped with spiral and boon winding, while the coordinate exercise ofthe spindle motor and the scan motor were controlled by register control FX2N-20GM.In this thesis, we discussed the whole scheme design of the control system, emphasized thewriting of the PLC and register control FX2N-20GM program, and the setting of its parameter,the configuration process of touch screen, the parametric setting of servo amplifier and so on.Meanwhile, the control mode of sevo system was also analysed. Based on the relative merits ofevery control mode, we chose the semi-closed loop. Employed the interpolation, the strategy ofcoordination control between spindle and scan was designed. In this way, the scan electricalmachine can esily catch up with the speed of spindle electrical machine. It is concluded that thecontrol system is satisfied of technological requirements totally, for it is highly automaticityand control accuracy, stable property, easy control, friendly interactive interface.
