The remote monitoring and controling system is a pop application in digital environmental protection. It's based on environment monitoring data acquisition and transmission. In this dissertation we analysed the requirement of environment monitoring and presented an environment monitoring data acquisition system based on embedded system and GPRS technology. This system used 386EX embedded processing module for core and drove GPRS module to connect GPRS network with Internet to realize data transmission.The system is designed to four layers, including hardware layer,hardware abstraction layer,operating system layer and application layer from bottom to top separately. In the way of hardware, the dissertation has completed the selection of embedded CPU module, the design and realization of RS485 circuit,AD acquisition module,GPRS module,LCD circuit and power supply circuit. In the way of software, it has completed the transplant ofμC/OS- II to 386EX module, the design and realization of five threads including GPRS dial-up,AD collection,digital data collection,GPRS data transmission and LCD display.According to the test and practice, the system is able to complete the environment monitoring data acquisition which regulated by the target of design. GPRS network can provide real-time, lucid and remote data transmission for users. The whole system runs smoothly and reliably.
