A Study On Huang Yuan-sheng's Journalism Practice And Journalism Ideology

As the first well-known and professional journalist in the modern Chinese history, Huang Yuan-sheng is good at writing the news story and regarded as the founder of news story in china. On the basis of the research on the Huang Yuan-sheng's journalism theory and practice, this thesis tries to discuss the sprout of Huang Yuan-sheng's professional journalism, the subjective and objective reasons for his first invention of the style of news story, even his feature of news-story, political essay and comments. Analyze the origin, the main content, the historical limitations and importance of Huang Yuan-sheng's journalism ideology, and his great influence on the later journalists.Huang Yuan-sheng is the first professional journalist in the modern Chinese history. It mainly manifested in some aspects, including his earliest consciousness of journalism professionalism, advocating the spirit of journalism professionalism and insisting on the objectivity and justice of journalism. The ideology of Huang Yuan-sheng played an important role in the liberalism of China. He had faith in the politic and rule of law, advocated the freedom of speech, individualism and the reform of society.Though only four years of the journalism career, Huang Yuan-sheng's achievement had been the miracle in the history of journalism. After his death, his friend Lin Zhijun collected, organized and compiled a book called"the relic of Huang Yuan-sheng", which is the first press collection of china and also the precious information about the political struggle and history of neoteric times of Republic of China.
