In this thesis, based on the study about Virtual Instrument, Instrument Control and Networked Measurement and Control, a networked measurement and control system based on Virtual Instrument is given.With the rapid development of computer technology and network technology, Virtual Instrument and remote measurement&control have become the important direction in the field of modern measurement and control. They play important roles in industry, cosmonautics, aeronautics, communications, manufacturing fields, and manifest many advantages relative to the classic instrument and measure.This thesis holds the trend, does research on networked measurement&control system based on Virtual Instrument technique. Firstly, the basal concept and current application of networked measurement&control system are introduced. Virtual Instrument, instrument control and LabVIEW language are described simply. C/S(Client/Server)and B/S(Browser/Server)mode which are the network structures of networked measurement&control system are explained and compared. Secondly, based on B/S mode, a networked measurement&control system composed of server computer, program control instrument, communication network and application software is built. The development of system software by LabVIEW language is introduced in detail, which includes system management program, instrument control program used virtual instrument panel and data processing program. The key techniques of networked control system, such as time synchronization,delay processing and network security are also analyzed, and the relevant processing methods are given. The prototype completed system was tested in practical task. The test shows that the system has the characteristic of fully function and easily operation, can control the instruments successfully and measures the measurands by network correctly, and manifests the advantages taken by Virtual Instrument Technology and Networked Measurement and Control Technology.
