Virtual Instruments (VI) and Networked Measurement and Control Technology are symbols of modern measurements. With the development of Virtual Instrument techniques , distributed execution techniques and network communication techniques ,especially with the fast progress and popularization of Internet , it has been a wide trend for VI technologies to be incoperated with network communication techniques ,which to a large extent facilitates the integration of signal acquiring , signal transferring and signal processing . At the same time , sharing of many expensive hardware resources as well as building VI systems with high flexibility and high testing efficiency become feasible.This thesis does research on Networked Measurement and Control system .Firstly , the basal concept and current application of Networked Measurement and Control system are introduced .Virtual Instrument and LabVIEW language are described simply .And also C/S ( Client/Server ),B/S ( Browser/Server ) and C/S/B (Client/Server/Browser) mode which are the network structures of Networked Measurement and Control system are explained and compared. DataSocket technique,Remote Panels technique are mainly introduced . Secondly, based on C/S/B mode, a Networked Measurement and Control system composed of server computer ,test computer , program control instrument , communication network and application software is built. And the remote video surveillance of the experiment system is achieved.At present, the Networked Measurement and Control of virtual experiment system is divided into four experimental groups: motor speed control laboratory furniture experiments, the rotor laboratory furniture general experiments, the ring transmission line laboratory furniture general experiments, NI ELVIS laboratory furniture experiments, cover a part of experiment of the courses of "basic control engineering", "Test Technology", "Control Engineering", "Mechanical Principles of Automatic Control", "Precision Measurement and Control Systems", "Principle and Application of sensor". Test results show that the experiment system had the desired effect.The test shows that the system can realize the teaching, operating, administrating and has good security and extendibility. And it has the characteristic of fully function and easily operation , can control the instruments successfully and measures the measurands by network correctly , and manifests the advantages taken by Virtual Instrument Technology and Networked Measurement and Control Technology.
