Research On Information Retrieval System Of The Shipbuilding Progress Facing For Medium-sized And Small Shipyards

In the field of shipbuilding, the information-based construction of shipyards has already been carried on for many years, however the result wasn't very obvious. People still depended on handmade statements, regular meetings and so on to understood important information about the shipbuilding schedule, so they couldn't classify and gather information and feedback them quickly. Especially for middle and small shipyards, because of the limit of capital and human resources, they urgently need a kind of management information system which can use cheap hardware and current software to show the shipbuilding schedule effectively. This paper according to the actual demand designed a management information system of shipbuilding schedule that facing for these shipyards.First, this paper explains the development background and meaning, by concluding the flow of the shipbuilding, analyses the requirement of the system and nails down the development goal of it. Then based on the total requirement, the paper brings requirement of the information transfer and others' requirement. This paper research on the total frame of the information retrieval system of the shipbuilding progress, and the system composed of material management information system, building management information, quality management information, blue papers management information and system management system. The paper introduces not only these systems' work content and function but also the function of information transfer.The system of this paper uses the current B/S (Browser/Server) software configuring system which combines the advanced computer network, the broker architecture and the component technology. It uses the micro-software's Visual Studio 2005 as its development platform, and uses ASP.NET 2.0 and Visual C# as its development language, and uses SQL Server 2005 as its back-end database.At last, the paper introduces some developed models and illustrates the retrieval and transfer of the production quality information, presents the idiographic page, and tests the system. The shipbuilding schedule information retrieval system needs to be continuously maintained and perfected in the practical use. Developing and strengthening its modules' function and safe measure is also need in the future.
