To meet the opportunity and challenge from the rapid development of shipbuilding industry all of the world nowadays,China's shipbuilding industry needs to realize digital shipbuilding to elevate the industry's core competence and provide a strong support for the industry's development.With the rapid development of digital ship-building,each department and enterprise in this field has used all kinds of digital tools,also with the application of these tools,we have made great progress in this field of digital shipbuilding.But these digital tools were constructed in different systems by different manufacturers at different time,moreover,they were mostly developed by different languages.So it is very difficult to realize information sharing one another.Thus it has formed the massive isolated island-like digital application tool.The ship data exchange technology is one of the digital shipbuilding construction infrastructures.By building ship data exchange technology can be achieved interconnectivity in the heterogeneous system of digital shipbuilding field, eliminate the"isolated island of information",and realize digital shipbuilding resource construction,management and application integration.So as to continuously improve China's shipbuilding industry design,manufacture and service.Therefore,the ship data exchange technology has a strong research and practical significance.Based on the KSHIP system which is developed from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University and China Ship Scientific Research Center,we have designed the data exchange patten with the ship digitization platform.Also for lacking of uniform standard,high platform dependence,system coupling and any other drawback existence in the traditional data exchange technology,we apply the most popular XML technology in data exchange field at present,and full use of its platform independency,easy extendibility and strong semantics to propose a data exchange project based on XMLtoXML,which has the features such as loose-coupling, flexibility and openness.Considering ship offsets table that is frequently used and exchanged,we make the detail investigation to the data resources of various digital tools in ship field.And it is designed by following the laws and principle which is easy to expanse,on this basis a expression format based on XML is proposed.The sharing data which extract from the various digital tools was transform to this format in order to share it conveniently.Data exchange is using XML and its related technology to implement the data exchange of the heterogeneous system in digital shipbuilding field.It is the key of the data integration of the whole system.In this thesis I have made a description focus on this process,firstly get the well definition XML ship offsets table from the original system,and then transform XML ship offsets table with the mapping file of target system afford,at last transfer to target system and again transform the data from the supportion of target side there.Finally,we realized the project under the J2EE technology platform.And it has applied to the KSHIP system.It achieved data exchange and sharing between the various digital tools of ship field.Since it has worked,the system was stable and the effect was good.
