In recent years,with the development of global economy, the world shipbuilding industry development is more swift and violent, the competition in ship industry is very fierce. China's shipbuilding industry gradually lost labor advantage, the quality is increasingly becoming the core business of each shipbuilding competitiveness. In order to sit pretty in the competition, enterprises are advancing their informational construction to improve the production and management. Therefore, implementing quality management system for shipyards are significant to improve quality of ship manufacturing, to strengthen market competition of shipyard.This paper research for a cooperation projects with shanghai shipyard, based Modern shipbuilding mode to study QIS on the theory, key technologies, system architecture and application software development and implementation. And it can be used to achieve digital management of ship quality information.The main contents are as follows:It has researched the current quality situation of shipbuilding enterprises. Then introduce the necessity of the research.Research the system's needs analysis, then study the general management process of enterprise,At last make the establishment of system's functional model.In accordance with the software engineering concepts,use rapid prototyping and modular methodology to develop the system.This system has been already applied in the whole company. And the facts showed that exact and timely production status makes sure that the production is coordinated ordered and efficient. Management is the base to guarantee the quality, also it's effective to improve the quality of Shipbuilding and the economic benefits. By using this system, it optimizes the quality management of enterprise, and finally improves the efficiency, cuts down the cost, improves the quality and service level and achieves the goal of optimizing the economic benefits.
