The Design And Implementation Of Manufacturing Grid Portal

As the offspring of the grid technology combined with the advanced manufacture technology,the manufacturing grid is a distributed and heterogeneous platform based on wide area networks.It is different from both generic networks and the networked manufacturing systems,due to possessing various characteristics,such as distributed characteristics,heterogeneity,sharing,cooperatively,and so on.The present grid portal almost based on computer grid,but the resource character,job management and application flow make the manufacturing grid different from computing grid.Therefore,it has special requests for manufacturing grid and we can't make use of the existing grid portal directly.For the need of design a manufacturing grid portal,in the paper,we discussed the background and current state about the project,and the main theory of grid, manufacturing grid and Grid Security Infrastructure(GSI)were introduced.We also study the portal technology,the Java Portlet Specification V1.0(JSR168)and the gridsphere frame.Especially,the architecture and the method of user management of gridsphere were discussed.And then,we examined the user requirements and resource characteristics in manufacturing grid,and analyses the structure of existing grid portal,at the base of them,the main frame of Manufacturing Grid Portal and the apartment were designed.Make use of the GSI and role based access control(RBAC), a new strategy of certificate and access control were put forward.Finally,a research platform is built and the Portal based on GridSphere is completed.Using the Portlet technology according with JSR168,the Portal has nice expansibility and translatability.There are also many other good functions,such as personalization,single sign on,user management based on roles and security certificate management.The project is valuable both in the theory research and common use,the things I do are as follows.(1)Make deep research about Manufacturing grid character and the existing grid portals and conclude the need of manufacturing grid portal.(2)The main frame of manufacturing grid was put forward,and the apartment functions were designed.(3)Make use of the GSI and RBAC,the model of certificate and access control were put forward.(4)Complement the manufacturing grid portal based on the research platform we build.
