Grid computing is a new technology which appears in recent years. By building a grid system, distributed resources furthest used and the resources shared. Grid Portal is a web based application that providing content aggregation from different grid resources and grid services. Grid portal offers a better user interface, consistent accessing pattern and easy usage of the grid services, and solves the complexity in using grid computing resources.On the basis of features of Chinese Information Processing Service, in this paper, firstly, we have studied deeply into the Gridsphere portal architecture, and then an architecture design of"Service-oriented Grid Portal based on Gridsphere" is described. Based on this architecture , framework of the Portal has been designed;User management component by which user can register login and change his profile, grid monitoring component by which users's job and grid resource can be monitored and grid service management & composition component by which grid services can be mananged and composed had been implemented.Now, service is a most important concept in grid system. With service composition, a single service can be composed to a new composite service which can implement a more complex function than single service. In this paper, we present a composition method of grid services based on Directed acyclic graph (DAG); give a standard of grid service input and output; simply implement the management and composition of Chinese Information Processing Service. When use this component, user can care the grid service's I/O only, no need to concern the process of service composition.
