Research And Design Of Educational Resource Grid Portal

The research on Educational Resource Grid (ERGrid) aims on the educational resource sharing in a distributed nodes. Grid Portal provides users safe and effective environment in Grid system. This paper firstly introduces the structure of Grid system, Globus toolkit and Portlet technique. A deep research on the Portal development framework in this paper—GridSphere is conducted. The overall design of ERGrid Portal, including system structure, space deployment, the definition of main Portal modules and their functions is finished. The paper focuses on the analysis of grid safety module, design of the safety structure of ERGrid. In this design, Portal level and Grid node level are combined to implement the management of user access authority. Detailed design and implementation is conducted on the key modules. This paper researchs some key problems in implementation of Grid Portal prototype based on GridSphere and establishes the prototype system of ERGrid. This system furthest hides the implementation details of Grid system to ultimate users and provides a very good method to fully utilize and effectively coordinate the educational resources.
