Research On The Construction Of Enterprise Competitive Intelligence System Based On UML

Competitive intelligence is the information about competitive environments derived from information collection and information analysis by enterprises. Competitive intelligence system is the information system through which enterprises perceive competitive environmental change, understand rival tendency, and make management strategies and competition decisions. The competitive advantages of an enterprise stem from its effective collection and utilization of competitive intelligence. And the construction of competitive intelligence system is important means for enterprises to obtain competitive intelligence and to perform decision support. This is due to the fact that competitive intelligence is hidden among a large amount of data, and both the quality of competitive intelligence and the effect of competitive activities are directly decided by the quality of analysis tools. However, with the rapid growth of competitive intelligence source, the deficiency of traditional competitive intelligence system becomes more obvious day by day. For example, the low-degree automation in information collection and information analysis cannot keep up with the enterprises development, therefore new technology and methods are required to apply in the competitive intelligence system. The arising and developing of UML technology bring new power to the development of competitive intelligence system.This paper mainly discussed the Concepts of Competitive Intelligence and Competitive Intelligence System, system, and basic principles and methods of UML, then analyze Competitive intelligence collection system, Competitive intelligence analysis system and the application of competitive intelligence system. And according to these concepts, this paper designed each system based on UML.
