This study focuses on Channel Young, the Lifestyle and Fashion TV Channel of Shanghai. This is a typical professional TV channel with a corporate management and functioning. Under the circumstances of China TV's industrialization trend, the study mainly aims at Channel Young's business. First of all, this paper gives a perspective of the development of China's TV industry and Shanghai Media Group's business, and Shanghai Media Group as known as SMG, which is what Channel Young belongs to. Then it goes through the condition for Channel Young to maintain the industrialized means of operation, which also gives an explanation of why it's necessary for Channel young and the whole China's TV Industry needs to have such means of operation.Then the study gives a close look at how Channel Young runs its business and operation. Also it concludes how Channel Young as a TV corporation that totally response for its own profit and expenditure to solve the problems on development and operation. With analysis on several examples, the answers are: always take brand as the essence in competition, always keep a sense of planning on the base of market and profit, to build up standardized managing system on quality and talents, also to break the single mode of media instead of building a industrial net of the channel its own. Then the study also comes out with some problems and flaws Channel Young has in its business, and gives advices according to them. At last, there's the inspiration on development of China's TV Industry from this study, and also a perspective on the future development of Channel Young to combine with the new media.The logical order of this study is: Channel Young's outer circumstances of its existence, the situation of its business, the problems it has and the significance of its experience. The means of study is a combination of examples and theory analysis.The preface explains the reason the case of Channel Young had become an object to study on, the purpose and value of this study as well as the means of study.Chapter one tells the situation of China's Industrialization development, as well as SMG's industrial business.Chapter two analyzes Channel Young's process on orientation based on its basic feature of being a professional and regional TV channel.Chapter three is a detailed analysis on Channel Young's experience on operating a TV channel as a company in China.Chapter four first tells about the problems that has exposed within Channel Young's business and some advice on dealing with them. Then conclusion on how Channel Young's case inspires the idea of developing China's TV Industry.At last, the author points out the future development of Channel Young and channels like Channel Young along with the powerful hit and influence of new media.
