CALS(Computer—aided Acquisition and Logistics Support) is an integrated management system that integrates the entire social economic operation's elements,realize the optimization of the resources allocation, reduce costs and improve the efficiency. According to the CALS system's characteristics of data openness and interoperability, a logistics collaborative information management platform between enterprises or departments was built to realize the ralated enterprises' and different departments' collaborative managements of the share information flow. Automated warehouse is a highly integrated product of modern logistics technology,warehousing technology,automation technology and computer technology. It has large storage capacity,occupys small areas, saves more manpower ,can be operated quickly and accurately andother advantages.It has become an important component in factory logistics,computer integrater manufacturing systems and commercial circulation.On the CALS platform, the planing of automatic warehouse system is researched using CALS' open database structure,product life cycle support process and CALS management strategy which provides a complete set of effective logistics system solutions including the technology of standardization and operation work. CALS standardization is a new area of information technology standardization,which covers the entire product life cycle and involves all stardards in information technology.It includes software standards ,hardware standards, logistics information standards and management standards. The main research work and innovation achievements are as follows:(1) logistics management, which includes analyses of CALS' range of logistics, product life cycle,the logistics whole framework, correlated technology application with CALS in logistics management and logistics information standardization in CALS environment, is discussed in the CALS environment.(2) On the basis of the previous chapter's discussion, the characteristics and the structure of automated warehouse system in CALS environment is put forward,and the warehouse automation system planning based on CALS is emphatically expatiated.(3) On the basis of the existing methods for location distribution, and on the CALS logistics platform, the optimization of the distribution in Warehouse Management System is further researched using polychromatic sets,and a new warhouse allocation optimization method is put forward which makes the storage allocation selecting be a more simple operation.(4) According to the status quo of Dayang motorbike's warehouse, using their existing warehousing, storage tasks and logistics management tasks, a WMS system based on the CALS is developed which includes operators access management module,warehousing and dilivery operation module, storage information management module and makes the research results not only be of theoretical significance but both practicability and maneuverability.
