| Auto industry has experiencing a rapid development in China,along with the prominent economic increase and the deep going reform and opening-up policy.WFMG,subsidiary of WFAUTO,also got remarkable sales revenues increase in past years,supplying wheels for worldwide famous OEMs.However,car price declines year by year,PAC(Parts and Components)suppliers has very limited profit,dealing with both pricing compress from OEM and more and more expensive raw material.In order to continually making profit under pressure,besides making good performance in Development and Marketing,it is increasingly realized they must pay attention to internal warehouse and logistics optimization management.This paper studies Storage and Logistics in Al wheel factory.That includes research summary of function of Warehouse and Logistic and its application in the world,systematically analyzed current logistic process,including detail layout,transfer path setup and digitization method,in order to list key issues,and proposed solution to the problems.Research is performed based WFMG warehouse and logistics management,and found issues as followed: unreasonable layout,lack of material storage managing,inferior in/out storage setup,lack of advanced storage managing method.This paper also proposed solutions accordingly: warehouse layout setting-up and optimizing,SLP theory application to improve warehouse and storage management,improve internal warehouse management by information technology by means of WMS.The main target of this paper is to establish Warehouse and Logistics model for Al wheel corporations,by studying advanced theory and learning from international cutting-edge experiences.Hopefully,this can help improve Warehouse and Logistics managing level and make real profit for customers. |
