As economic globalization continuous development, the alliance enterprise from different industries, regions and countries also will develop rapidly. The internal and external work environment of enterprise have taken place great changes, with the greater complexity of modern products,to design them can not be done by one company only. Therefore, the design of such complex products must be done by the product designer who distribute in different industries, regions and countries together with other technical personnel, and then the co-design techniques have emerged.Collaborative design is the process that designers from different locations each bear their own design task, and work together to complete the design of the same product under the computer network environment. The staff designs the same product at different time, place and area. During the design process,the needs of the user to change the design and designer feedback on design modifications will lead to the increase of repetitive. The dynamic,repeatability and uncertainty of collaborative design process will produce a number of versions. How to manage effectively the version information appearing in the collaborative design process is one of the core problems on the manager study in the collaborative design process.The topic does research on management techniques of the version in product collaborative design process. The main work is following:(1) Introduce the associated concepts and key technologies on collaborative design and management of version, and then do a detail analysis and summary on them.(2) Based on the polychromatic sets and polychromatic graph theory research, combing the characteristics of the product collaborative design version, the management model of multi-level version on collaborative design relationship with the characteristics of multi-color graph theory is proposed, and then describe and define it on the way of form, by anlysising the advantages and disadvantages of the existing linear version relationship management model, version-tree relationship management model and directed acyclic graph version of relationship management.(3)The topic mainly center on the version storage of the version management in the product collaborative design process. Based on the analysis on the existing incremental storage and complete storage technology of the current version, the storage model version of collaborative design that combine a complete storage and the inverse incremental storage based on doubly linked list-based is proposed, which implement the algorithm of the model. And analysis and confirm he model improves version of the access speed, saves storage space and improves the security of storage of the version to some extent by the example.(4) On the basis of the theory, take the design of automotive power systems for example, based on the .NET platform, using ASP.NET +C# +ADO.NET development technology, design and develop a version management system on product collaborative design, and realize the operation, storage control and security maintenance of the version in the process of collaborative design, and verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the way proposed in the paper.
