Research On Product Family Modeling Method Based On Polytechnic Sets Theory

In recent years,with the emergence of mass customization techniques, research toproducts family model has been a hotspot. On the basis of product family model,Configure to the model according to user requirements,so as to derive product instancemodel that meet to user needs.Polychromatic sets theory(PST) assembly is an newinformation processing tool.its characteristic is model different object by means ofuniform mathematical model.This paper studied the product modeling method basedon PST, the main research contents are as follows：Compare to traditional arrangement structure model and corresponding PSTarrangement structure model. A conclusion can be obtained: the later can describecomplicated product family model.The design based on this platform of the clan hierarchy modeling method.basedon Solidwork, take the machine tool as the object, model of five module areestablished. A conclusion is obtained then: Arrangement modeling method is fisible.Studied the method of version storage and management, then a mixed versionstorage model based on threshold and a version management model based on PG aregiven. Take axis for example, its version management model based on PG and PSmatrix are given.Product family configuration model based on PG is given. Take headstork ofmachine tool for example, its configuration model based on PG is given, then based onSolidwork, two different configuration instance model are given.
