For recent years, with the economy development in our country at a very fast speed, it has accelerated the highly increasing demand for the coal. However, how to ensure the management mine safely and the miners' lives has been an emergency with the increasing mine-tragedy, and how to develop the effective work has been in front of our country's superintendence departments and leaders. If there is a mine-tragedy to occur, there would be a great loss of economy and many people casualty because of the difficult communication between the ground and in the mine. Therefore, it is very important to handle correctly the connection between safe and work. We must manage the mine effectively and ensure to implement the save work in time.This paper has designed a location and interphone system for the mine based on the some popular wireless technology and current communication condition in the mine. This design include two functions: location and interphone. Each function composed three parts: data collection in the mine, data transmit and data disposal. In the location system, it can be realized to form the network and gather the RSSI by the popular ZigBee technology. And transmitting data to the data service in the monitor center by CAN bus. The clients PC in the monitor center access the service and dispose the relative data and display in the GIS. In the interphone system, the voice enddevice would digital the analog signal to digital signal and code with CVSD, then CC2500 transmit the digital data to the main node and farther transmit to the PC client by 485 bus. In the monitor system, PC clients can store the voice digital data and revert the signal.This paper has particularly depicted the all system and analysed how to form the database and emphasisly discuss the data collect part and the transmit part, including the software and hardware. My research mainly focuses on the following:1,Discuss some wireless radio technology and stress the ZigBee technology base on the IEEE802.15.4, and analyze the characteristics of the ZigBee, the Z_Stack and the program flow.2,Design the whole orientation project, including the ZigBee chip CC2430, the structure of the hardware and program.3,Design the whole interphone project, including the wireless transceiver chip CC2500, the structure of the hardware and program.4,Select the PC software platform, including management for the database.
