As a wireless voice communication device, interphone has some advantages, such as low cost during communication, no need for network restrictions, simple operation and so on. For these reasons,interphone has its own unique application areas, especially in some special occasions, for example emergency communications.However, due to call quality, communication distance, and the price, interphone hasn’t been widely applied in China, therefore we can concluded that it has huge market potential in China. With the rapid development of construction industry, transportation industry, and petroleum chemical industry, the demand of interphone will be larger. The interphone industry in China are developing towards a intelligent, personalized and light direction, and at the same time its application will be more and more widely in the civil field.This paper designed and realized a kind of miniature embedded wide-band wireless interphone system, which belongs to the analog interphone. During the development of the project, a new method is designed, which is based on a universal RF transceiver chip. In this way we can avoid the instability of designing analog radio circuit and debug conveniently. At the same time it can reduce the costs of development and production effectively, and be suitable for mass production, which is conducive to the promotion of the large number of civilian inteiphone.In the process of system development, the system framework and software flow was determined first based on the global analysis of requirements in structure and function. Then according to the modular idea, the hardware and software are divided into different modules, respectively, to achieve relatively independent function. And finally the modules are integrated to achieve the overall functions of the system. This paper emphasizes the design process of the hardware and software modules, and gives test results of the interphone system performance.During the last period of the project, a large quantity of optimization work has been made in both hardware and software aspects. In the hardware something unreasonable has been adjusted, and the PCB circuit board has been recreated, while in the software code has been effectively optimized, and the global performance of the system has been improved.Generally speaking, the interphone system designed in this paper is quite successful. All the expected functions have been achieved, and all the indicators have been reached.
