Mining industry is the basis of national economy, and mining resources are the basic source materials of production and life. The facts whether the mining resources are abundant or they are fully explored are the vital factors that determine the economical capacity and developing potential of one country, and informationization is one of the most effective measures to improve mining management level. In order to speed up realization of mining modernization, the measure of "Applying informationization to accelerating industrialization and applying industrialization to promoting infomzationization" is certainly the best choice of all.Based on theory of system engineering and together with the reference to lots of literatures, the thesis gives general accounts of features of enterprise information system in the past, at present and in the future, analyzing the developing status and existing problems of mining information system. The research, which starts with one part of structuring digital mine, chooses the subject of MIS designing and planning, detailed discussing the theory for designing, technology and planning of MIS on web model. The thesis gives detailed discussion on mine synthetic management information system by applying theory of system optimizing, system engineering, database and data warehouse technique. On the analysis of past, present and future conditions of digital mine and its management pattern, the thesis structures the initial frame of mine synthetic MIS on web.The main contents of this thesis can be summarized as follows:1. Developing status of digital mine is analyzed.2. Combining with the real situation of mine, the key technology of structuring digital mine is discussed.3. Based on the mining transaction process, the problems existing in mine informationization construction are analyzed and the functions of the system is supposed to have are thus made clear. According to requirements, the general planning of mine is designed and the personal responsibilities are classified.4. According to characteristics of mining information system, the united C/S and B/S model is proposed, which is applied to cope with different required information. Thus, both models are cooperating and making full use of its own advantages.5. In the course of developing mining synthetic management information system, the combined methods of life cycling method and prototyping method are suggested. 6. The developed system consists of nine subsystems, which can realize the functions of inputting, inquiring, retrieving and scanning.7. On the basis of theory analysis, the mine designing and planning of MIS on web are illustrated by taking mine synthetic MIS for example. To realize integrated MIS, structure designing of database is detailed discussed. At the same time, ACCESS database and VB6.0 are employed to fulfill the inquiry.The study of this thesis provides an integrated data analysis environment for mining managers to grasp thorough, accurate and timely enterprise information and reliable basis to render the managerial decision-making more scientific and timely. It also helps to promote and specify the information standard construction in mining enterprise.
