With the development of new scientific technology in computer graphics technology,3D visualization technology,three-dimensional interpolation,and database technology and the "Digital Earth" and "Digital Mine" concept putting forward,more and more three-dimensional modeling technology and virtual simulation technology applied to mine production and other fields,the role of the three-dimensional mine virtual reality systems is becoming increasingly important.It is of great significance to the development and construction of mine,resource exploration and evaluation,informatization comprehensive management,assistant mineral exploration and prospecting prediction.And it is also of great significance in popularizing mine knowledge to the public.At present,the study of 3D mine construction is usually confined to professional 3D geological modeling software platform,operation and visualization of single geological model.But it has some limitations in integrated modeling and visualization of the underground objects,ground surface and ground objects,the multiple source data integrationand the comprehensive management and integration of 3D geological model and 2D multiple information,and can not meet the demand for popularization of science.This paper studied the quick 3D modeling method of large complex geological mining engineering under the true 3D environment ground and underground,studied the realization method of scene nomadism and simulation system.This paper implements three-dimensional modelig and data format conversion and key functions of spatial navigation,3D spatial query,spatial plane slice analysis,overlay analysis and so on.And with Lala Copper Deposits of Sichuan Province as an example,this paper studied the metallogenic background and geological features of ore deposit of this region,established the three-dimensional entity model and developed the double 3D digital mining system of Lala Copper Deposits of Sichuan Province.This system realized the integration of true 3D of ground and underground,the unified management and analysis of two-dimensional geological data and 3D geological model,phased integration of the mining segment of "partition type" digital ore fields,and can carry on the interactive operation through the network,is a one-stop comprehensive service platform of multi-purpose,multi-level and multi-stage with production,learn and research combining.These are of important significance to development construction,resources exploration and evaluation,comprehensive informatization management of a mine and popularize mine-related knowledge to the public.
