Water disaster as one of the main disasters in coal mine influences the safety production of coal mine severely as one of the main disasters in coal mine. To prevent water disaster, some hydrology geologic drills are established in the domain of mine to observe the variation of the water level, water temperature, water quality of each aquifer with the change of climate, season, mining. Moreover, the exploitation of measure technology in ground water conductance, PH value, turbidity has important significance to earthquake short term forecast.Considering the drill hydrology monitoring system status quo and the existing main problems, we design wireless remote measurement system of drill hydrology based on GPRS which integrates information gathering technology, information wireless transmitting technology, information processing technology and forecast technology. Network system frame is adopted in the system, prodigious convenience is provided for the future spread of the system, except that the water level measure is applied, some correlation measures such as water tempreture, water quality are applied, the application area is capacious. The system contains three networks which is locale, commonality GPRS network and monitoring center part. The locale part is composed of intelligent sensor, remote indicating instrument and GPRS module. Various intelligent sensors and remote indicating instrument make up RS-485 communication network. Hydrology information measure is achieved by intelligent sensor, remote indicating instrument arouses every intelligent sensor to measure hydrology data by timing in circle, every intelligent sensor transmits the measure hydrology data to remote indicating instrument by RS-485, the data are disposed and stored collectively in remote indicating instrument, then the monitoring information are transmitted immediately by GPRS module, GPRS network in wireless to monitoring computer of the monitoring center which the data are stored enduringly, printed and shared by LAN. The control instructions or enquiry of monitoring computer can transmit to remote indicating instrument by GPRS network to carry out long-distance control to every intelligent sensor.In this paper the choice of the system project, the method, work principle, realizing method of remote indicating instrument, intelligent sensor, and of the monitoring computer software are mainly introduced, the related hardware circuit and software working flow are introduced in detail.In the system the traditional drill hydrology monitoring system is optimized combined with wireless communications. Automatic, intelligence, modularization, layering and network of the drill hydrology monitoring have been achieved. The system has such merits as low cost, flexible distributing, credible transmitting and so on, it has great value of social generalization.
