At present, most of intelligent care systems for medical in society are still at an experimental stage. They are mainly used to help patient to get up and monitor the patient’s situation. They can only relive a little workload for the nursing staff. So there is not nursing device with high automatization developed for unconscious patients those who are old, weak, sick and disabled.Aiming at the limitations existing in the current intelligent care systems for medical, this dissertation presents a new solution—Remote Care System For Medical Based On GPRS. The system adopts advanced electric elements, intelligent voice prompt module, auto-sensing device and sound wireless communication network. Therefore, it not only realizes humanistic nursing for patients, but also achieves the acquisition and centralized monitoring about the Intelligent-Nurse information. This paper provides detailed introduction on the hardware of Intelligent-Nurse, the wireless communication network of GPRS and the server’s software in monitoring center.(1) The control section of Intelligent-Nurse is composed of PIC18F87KK22made by Microchip, MC39i produced by Siemens and the correlative control circuits. First of all, this section real-time collects the operating information of Intelligent-Nurse by the circuits of sensors, and utilizes PIC18F87K22to analyze the data, then links the server in monitoring center and Intelligent-Nurse by the way of MC39i.(2) GPRS is a new bearer service which has the advantages such as high baud rate, short connect time, always online and charging for traffic. By now, it has become a developing emphasis in the field of mobile communication and widely in the world. The system establishes a communication link by means of between the PIC SCM and GPRS module, the MC39i and GPRS network, GPRS module and the server in monitoring center. For this reason, it could satisfy the expected function of the system.(3) According to the system requests, this paper adopts dynamic web station using ASP as the server’s monitoring software. It is an integrated mode that through the dynamic web station used ASP running on the server and the Access2003developed by Microsoft call the background database. The background processing procedures check all of the data transmitted from Intelligent-Nurse, and then store the data in database. Whether or not update the directory tree of the main interface is by comparing with the last data. The main interface retrieves the data in real time to suit user’s requirement. At the same time, the dynamic web station using ASP can realize many functions such as login and log out of the Intelligent-Nurse, User Configuration and automatic alarm. So the functions can satisfy the monitoring system completely.
