Research And Development Of Inventory Management System Based On ASP Platform

With the development of economic globalization, the competition among the enterprises is becoming more and more fierce. It requires enterprises in modern times can react swiftly on the constantly changing market situation, whereas inventory management is a necessary part of an enterprise's daily management, so the implementation of inventory management information is becoming more and more important. But in present situation, the implementation of medium-small sized enterprises'information is facing a big challenge because of shortage of capital and IT personnel. ASP (Application Service Provider), providing service for medium-small sized enterprises in the manner of IT outsourcing, making medium-small sized enterprises enjoy high quality service at a rather low price, is becoming a new thinking of medium-small sized enterprises'information building.The work in this thesis is a part of the coordination design of supporting products'lifecycle, the common service platform for medium-small sized enterprises'information in Wuxi (Short as ALLIASP), which is sponsored by the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program). In this thesis, Based on the analyses of ASP platform implementation status and the difficulties of information implementation faced medium-small sized enterprises, the idea of developing an inventory system based on ASP platform is put forward. Then some kinds of inventory control model applied in medium-small sized enterprises are researched; and based on the analyses of application and business model of typical common service platform ALLIASP the general design planning of system is given and the key technologies and difficulties such as the transaction control in inventory business, the choice of price calculation strategy, the principles of ABC classify in inventory control field, the permission control strategy of RBAC and reports print based on web are researched; and then a detailed explanation on the concrete implementation of the system under the environment of .NET and SQL Server, which include the programming and the designing of database structure, is given.
