As the changes in the ideas of education assessment and the implementation of the higher educational reform project of teaching quality and teaching methodology, the traditional assessment modes can't well adapt to the new assessment practice. Putting the new modes into practice has been a common and strong desire. How to put the ideas of new teaching assessment into teaching practice has become an important problem of the people working on education technology.Combined with my teaching practice in the University Fundamental-computer Curricula and based on the project of"the Teaching reform and Practical Study in University Fundamental-computer Curricula", the paper researches on how to construct the system of developmental students assessment and its application. There are five chapters in the paper. The first chapter explains the research background, the research goal, the significance, the research methods and the present situation of domestic and foreign research. Besides, it explains the related concepts about the students assessment; The second chapter shows the related theories about the developmental student assessment, such as the foundation of theory, basic principles and traits and so on; The third chapter elaborates the construction of the developmental student assessment system in the University Fundamental-computer Curricula. The fourth chapter analyzes the teaching cases based on the developmental student assessment in the University Fundamental-computer Curricula. At the same time, it analyzes and summaries the effect in the practice from two aspects: the quality and the quantity; The fifth chapter summarizes the research situation, and based on the above foundation puts forward the initial construction of the platform of the developmental student assessment about the University Fundamental-computer Curricula under the network environment.By practical research, the author finds out that it has positive influence on the teaching quality to apply the developmental student assessment into the teaching practice. It influences on the students from four respects: it helps students clarify the study goals; it helps students enhance study attention; it helps students advance the activity of self- reflection and mutually assessment; it helps students accomplish their productions better. This research adapts the development of curricula reforms in university, it proposes and confirms the method and the strategy of the developmental student assessment. Furthermore, it provides a guide to use the method and the strategy of the developmental student assessment. So it has practical significance to carry out the activities of the teaching assessment.
