Evaluation Studies, Based On Intelligent Elp System Of Colleges And Universities, "computer Culture" Course To Learn

With our human being's getting into the information society, a new request has been put forward about how to cultivate university student's information ability and Information Literacy in the 21th century. Computer culture basic course plays an important role in initiating computer knowledge and skills and cultivating Information Literacy. In the view of the insufficiency of the present assessment of the Computer culture basic course, the researcher combines the current thought of education with the previous studies on the topic, and comes up with the idea of using E-learning Portfolio in Computer culture basic course. How to use this method in Computer culture basic course has been expatiated in the following aspects such as theoretical foundation, evaluation principle, evaluation way of thinking, evaluation model, evaluation method, evaluation process and its advantages, etc. According to this theory, the author designs the intelligent assessment system to Computer culture basic course with E-learning Portfolio. This system can combine self-assessment with mutual assessment and teacher's assessment, and can carry out the comprehensive assessment about computer knowledge, skill and emotion with rubric and fuzzy synthetic estimate in order to realize the comprehensive assessment of learning process and result.The researcher carries on an empirical study with intelligent ELP assessment system to computer culture basic course which lasts a semester since September 2005. The subjects involved in the experiment are first-year art majors in Capital Normal University. The research proves that learning evaluation mode based on computer culture basic course of intelligent ELP system, can promote teachers and students to grow up together:The E-learning Portfolio assessment helps inspire learning interest, promote the grasp of computer knowledge and skill, cultivate creative ability, investigating ability, introspecting ability and cooperating spirit of students, and has an important meaning to the exaltation of student's character.The E-learning Portfolio assessment also stirs up the teacher's creative spirit, urging a teacher to adopt a new teaching and evaluating way, renewing teaching idea and teaching behavior, strengthening the ego of teacher's teaching consciousness, meanwhile, promoting the teacher's own development.In conclusion, learning evaluation mode of the computer culture basic course based on intelligent ELP system can promote student and teacher's development and have a bright future.
