Since 1990s, with the rapid development of science and technology and the approaching of information globalization, the current pattern of educating can not meet the needs of the society in China any more, Internet and computer technology begin to lead the profound changes in the field of education. In view of the status quo about college students'learning in the university and college teaching of fundamental computer curricula, this paper adopts the cultural reform on college teaching of fundamental computer curricula courses based on PBL (Prob1em-based 1earning) under the network, which is applied to the practice of university teaching, and has achieved remarkable effects. It verifies that PBL is feasible and effective under the network environment, which conforms to the national basic curriculum reform direction of colleges and universities and adapt to the actual teaching.This paper chooses the network environment PBL model in the application of fundamental computer literacy to study, based on the idea of action research. First of all, through the endnote software, it uses bibliometrics and content analysis to study the literature both at home and abroad, and then uses teaching experiments, interviews, questionnaires and other educational scientific research methods, combined with PBL special study and application of the construction site to sum up the experience and existing problems. And it focuses on a systematic study about the practical application level of PBL.The paper mainly discusses the following aspects:The first part mainly analyzes the background and significance of the issue at home and abroad, and proposes to put teaching model of problem-based learning into fundamental computer curricula.The second part studies deeply the definition, origin, development, characteristic, theoretical foundation on PBL and studies the application, constructive mode of PBL under the network environment.The third part mainly designs a thematic learning website on PBL, which is based on fundamental computer curricula. The website includes an overview of site and the development and production, etc.The fourth part mainly studies that the model of PBL is applied to fundamental computer under the network environment. This part presents a detailed discussion on the design in case teaching of WPBL, the contrastive analysis in the experimental teaching, and the investigation of the efficacy on web sites. Based on the result, the paper analyzes some existing problems in practice, does practical summarizations and rethinking.The last section comes to a conclusion and points out the problems confronted in the present study, and those which need to be solved in the future.
