With the change of the "University Computer Foundation" course from the traditional teaching mode to the MOOC teaching mode,the existing methods of student learning evaluation can't meet the current teaching needs well.How to apply the data mining technology to the teaching practice,and improve the existing student learning evaluation model,in order to better play the advantages of MOOC teaching,has become an important issue in the teaching reform of colleges and Universities.Based on the MOOC platform,this paper combined with author's teaching practice in the course of "University Computer Foundation" in our university,analyzes the basic process and methods of the application of educational data mining technology in the course of "University Computer Foundation".There are five chapters in this paper.The first chapter describes the background and significance of the research,and the research status of MOOC teaching mode and educational data mining at home and abroad.The second chapter gives an overview of the related concepts and theoretical basis.The third chapter constructs the evaluation system of "University Computer Foundation" according to the concept of developmental evaluation.The fourth chapter designs the basic process of the teaching experiment.Then,the teaching practice is carried out according to the experimental design.Finally,the educational data mining technology is used to analyze and evaluate the students' learning behavior.The fifth chapter summarizes the research situation of this paper,puts forward the shortcomings of the research and prospects for the future research work.The practice research shows that the application of educational data mining technology in the teaching activities of " University Computer Foundation" course,can improve the process evaluation method;on the other hand,the evaluation results can be fed back to the students in time so that students can find their own problems as soon as possible,timely adjustment their learning methods and learning attitude.Finally,it provides theoretical guidance and objective basis for teachers' further teaching optimization.
