Design And Implementation Of Business For Location Based Service On 3G Phone

LBS-Location Based Service is a kind of The Value-Added Services .It can locate a mobile phone through the net, aford services for user supported by electronic map.The 3G network providing the wireless interconnection function and the high accuracy location position technology, will be able to provide rich position services for the mobile user.In the coming 3G era,besides fundamental phone call such Value-Added Services as LBS will be competition fields of the mobile companies. Value-Added Services of LBS which are served to the customs need to be explored and to be perfect.To realize the LBS services, the support of mobile company to achieve the position information of the mobile phone user and the support of digital map provider company are needed.A rich function service system is also needed.this paper discusses the LBS service system construction using java platform and oracle database.This paper introduced the knowledge and the key technology about LBS:J2ME,SVG,J2EE, analyzed the application domains of LBS.This paper uses J2EE to realize the LBS running platform.System design and the realization questions are researched. The LBS system uses ORACLE SPATAIL for construction of spatial database, uses the application server to run the service platform, uses the WEB server to issue the information.J2ME takes the client side movement platform.1. Realized the LBS phone client program including the SVG map display module:SVG graphics displaying,chinese displaying,map translation and zoom;HTTP communications module;service control module:LBS service request and respone.2. realized the Value-Added Service's server-side modules. the locates oneself, location search, mobile yellow page and way search Value-Added Services.
