With the development and popularization of computer network,people are not satisfied to access Internet by wired network.While they want to carry out the ideals of communication "whenever,wherever,whoever,whomever and whatever to communicate".This new requirement promotes the development of wireless network technology,and some new computing models are proposed,such as mobile computing and pervasive computing.According to the authoritative statistics,which is released by Ministry of Industry and Informationization of China,the number of mobile phone users in our country is more than 600 million up to the end of June 2008.Another data,which is published in Research Report to Behavior of Internet Use of mobile phone web users in china 2008 by iResearch,shows that the number of mobile phone web users in china 2007 has increased to 92 million.Compared with the same period of 2006,it increased by 45 million,95.7%compared increase.The iResearch estimates,Up to 2011,this number will be 360 mollion.All the statistics tell us that mobile terminal users have formed a large group in our country.While in the large group,more and more people want to require information by wireless network.So the current situation that all the value-added service is developed by terminal operators and wireless network sercice providers can not meet the development needs to the fast developing wireless network. At present,the emphasis is how to make more and more software Engineers develop value-added service efficiently.In this dissertation,some systematic study and prototype implementation based on J2ME are carried out according to the problem. Mean while the general method and procedure to MIDP are also studied emphasizely. After that,a management system for mobile phone communication book based on J2ME is implemented.Finally,something about PUSH and its application in mobile value-added service are presented,and the emphasis is how to make the mobile application start automatically by PUSH registration mechanism.In order to explain the practical application of PUSH registration mechanism,we designed and implemented an example which make the MIDlet running on JAVA mobile phone start automatically by PUSH registration mechanism.The innovation points in the dissertation are as follows.1.Based on J2ME,the general method and procedure to MIDP are studied. While the development process and technical experiences of mobile terminal are demonstrated in an example.2.Based on implementing spread service using PUSH technology by value-added service,according to the requirement of practical problems,some research on how to implement the mobile value-added system's automatically carry out after being pushed to mobile terminal by PUSH registration mechanism is studied,and we designed and implemented an example.
