As a powerful supporting assistance device of real-time monitoring management, the monitoring system for scenic areas reduces much manpower and the economic cost in the practical application of scenic areas' supervisory work. And it has brought about a conversion of working in the management area. This paper studies and designs one kind of monitoring management terminal for scenic areas based on image gathering and CDMA. The monitoring terminal has the characteristices of well real-time, high reliability, strong expansion ability and so on.The paper's main task revolves the hardware design of the monitoring terminal. It specifically elaborates the hardware circuit design and the realization method of each function unit composing the image gathering module. These units include image gathering, image coding, and image transmission. Monitoring terminal uses S3C44B0X as its monitoring processor. It gives a detailed introduction of the S3C44B0X smallest system circuit design, and designs a UART circuit to connect the image gathering module and the CDMA wireless connecting module, while the antijamming is fully considered during the whole plan.In the CDMA wireless transmission module part, the paper elaborates the working principle of CDMA wireless connecting, and chooses the integrated DTU-800X as the wireless connecting module founding on the theory proof.In the software design, it analyzes the JPEG code compression principle, and then focusing on TMS320VC5416, completes the image gathering software design based on the integrated development environment CCS of DSP. For the sake of real-time ability and updating's convenience of the system, the system transplantsμC/OS-II operating system to S3C44B0X. Then the paper describes each task and the working principle of the monitoring processor, and elaborates the work flow of the CDMA wireless connecting module.In the whole system design, the hardware design uses the modular design in which antijamming measure is carefully adopted. Also the software design introduces the real-time operating system, which enhances the real-time ability, the reliability, the stability and the antijamming ability of the system.
