It is of significant importance for both industry and research to apply wireless communication and embedded processing technology in the designing of a new remote surveillance system. This paper presents a remote image surveillance system based on CDMA. Using CDMA network as its communication channel, it displays merits like high-speed data transmission, robustness, low charge and low cost in maintenance.After analyzing the development of embedded processing and CDMA, the article brings out the scheme of the wireless surveillance system based on uC/OS- II real-time operating system. The paper introduces the hardware with a core of S3C44B0X and the transplant of the real-time operating system uC/OS- II which carries on switching and communicating between the tasks to ensure the real-time character, dependability and stability of the system. According to the performance requirements, the thesis puts forward the overall frame, divides functional tasks and designs the communication and switching mode between tasks. At the end of the thesis, a brief summary is provided which introduces the debugging circumstances and suggests alternative ideas for further research.
