With the rapid development of domestic economy, railway construction will turn into a new emphasis. To speed up passenger trains and decrease journey time are one of the targets of our country railway modernization, and also a means to increase competition in transportation market. As an important rail infrastructure, the turnout will directly affect the performance of the safe operation of trains, and has tremendous effect on our society. In view of this, our primary work is to monitor the impact of the high-speed railway turnout performance parameters for real-time monitoring and can handle abnormal situation timely. But, there is no effective means of monitoring the turnout in our country.Understood and referenced fully to foreign high turnout monitoring system, this paper finally confirmed and achieved the SUI-YU high railway turnout monitoring system. The main contents of this thesis are listed in the following:1. Analyzed actuality of the domestic and international high-speed turnout monitoring system, identified the project turnout monitoring system according to SUI-YU high-speed railway.2. Identified data monitoring equipment and applied operating system, chose hardware filtering methods to achieve second-order Butterworth low pass filter.3. Confirmed function and requirements of turnout monitoring system; designed and installed box of Sensor; made clear measuring principle of all measurement parameters.4. Designed and achieved a multi-channel data collection system based on Linux; completed data collection, data filtering, data storage, data transmission and other functions;5. Designed and accomplished the Windows applications and calculated real-time changes of the hatch parameter and gauge; produced data processing DLL and data analysis functions for expanding system expediently through Visual C++6.0; in addition, joined data curve mapping and data filtering function for observing data.This paper presented the monitoring system is based on the actual issue of high-speed rail monitoring and filled a blank in the turnout monitoring field. Therefore it has practical and referenced value and could be extended to practical application.
