With the development of science and technology in recent years, we have acquired so many innovations in the field of industrial automation. Though, there is so little progress for Chinese coal industry. In the market for the coal industry, we don't have many choices of relevant industrial automation products. Especially in the many underground coal mines, operation methods are very traditional without the digital control of network. Manual operation for the entire production of transport brings great danger, greatly reducing production efficiency.This issue is combined with the related development trends of China and abroad and set at the background of our project—"The Control System of Underground Vehicle Network Switch", one part of the project "The Coal Mine Transportation System based on Intrinsically-safe-digital Enhancing ". Finally we designed a set of mine Network anti- explosion mine control system. We connect the host computer and PLC with the Ethernet ring network to control the switch action of the turnout. The whole article is separated from three parts: the overall design of the whole system; the communication theory and the two subsystems. During the part of communication theory, we comprehensively judge the two kinds of communication protocols TCP/IP and UDP/IP with their advantages and disadvantages, while we make the redundancy design with the ring topology of the network. Finally we introduce our research work about the anti-explosion feature of our control system. During the design research of the system, we use two ways C # and King view to implement the structures of the system, which offers various choices during the engineering practice. In the subnet made up from the PLCs, we choose the the master– slave stood with the consideration of the practical applicability, which can excellently cover the blind spots which the Ethernet optical fiber networks can't do. It finally optimizes the whole system. During the last passage I finish the summary of the whole design research of the system.
