Nowadays, Turnout in our country is focused on the repair after malfunction. In order to ensure the management efficiency of the train and the train lines, it is required that the maintenance and repair of turnout should be the less the better , as well as the shorter the better in the high-speed railway management.As there is no effective way of automatic monitor of turnouts in the railway department of our country, the daily maintenance and repair is still in the traditional way, which takes a lot of management time. The development of the high-speed railway requires that it is such an urgence to improve the maintenance and repair techniques to meet the leaping-development of the modern railway.PMS (Point Monitoring System) is the system which monitor the key turnouts and their switch equipment in the track traffic , as well as the track circuit of the turnouts. It can provide deceision-making backup for maintenance and repair. Considering the development situation of railways in China and international experience, we believe: with the enhancement of the railway transportation speed, the real time monitor of switch equipment of turnouts has become the key means to ensure the safety of equipments and realize state maintenance.Through summarizing the development condition of turnout-monitor systems home and abroad , this paper provided a detailed analysis of field monitoring data model of turnouts, which is a model about non-stationarity time series.After a comprehensive introduction of the function requirements and the system requirements of turnout monitor system, the paper offered the netware structure as well as the system structure as a whole. What's more, it introduced the field monitoring unit(FMU), which is the main part of PMS, taking responsibility for A/D conversion, buffer as well as transmission of the real-time state data, and carrying out corresponding communication disposal and process control according to the instruction from the central processing server(CPS). Finally, this paper analyzed the software frame of the system, and accomplished the corresponding software designment.
