The Railway Turnouts, which are at the cross of tracks, are used to move the tracks. The Hydraulic Switch takes charge of the turnout action. Because it is in a state of open, so it is very prone to rust, debris and other unexpected situations, even cause traffic accident. This paper designs the real time monitor system of Railway Hydraulic Switch Turnout based on this background. It monitors many hydraulic switches and implements the management intelligently. More over, the system could find hidden trouble in time.This paper describes the main idea of design, and discusses the design and implementation of software and hardware in detail. The main content of the paper includes:(1) Introduces the background and significance of the system.(2) Expounds the overall design idea. Include the function, the main technical indicators and the main structure of the system. Such as the Master-Slave structure which based on power line carrier communication.(3) The hardware design of system. Include the design idea of MCU chip, data collection unit, Sub-board and Master-board unit.(4) The protocol of logic token ring network. It makes the self-healing capability of system much stronger. In the case of major equipment are not damaged, network changes or local fault do not need manual intervention. The remaining part of the system could keep working, record the network changes and report the fault to administrator.(5) The software design of system. Include the program and database design which focuses on the data collection and carrier communication modules.(6) Robust Design System. IP Fragmentation Processing reduces the length of spending time of retransmit data when transmission error happened, improves the data transmission efficiency of system; Compound Digital Filter algorithm enhances the anti-jamming capability of system greatly.Practice has proved that the monitor system is stability. It has friendly human-machine interface. The system guarantees the safety of the railway turnout, which has important economic and social significance.
