Research On Some Problems Of Chinese Archives Preservation

Archives preservation is an importance part of archives affairs, it determines thesafety of archives. Nowdays, the archives preservation includes macro-aspect andmicro-aspect, macro-aspect includes the establishment and executer of policies, theestablishment and executer of preservation standards, the development plan ofarchives preservation, the responsibility of the archives, the executer of the archivespreservation education and training, the scientific research on archives preservation,the communication of archives preservation and the archives preservation technology.This thesis chooses policy, standard, education and science research to discuss andreveal.This thesis can be divided to five parts:Part 1. The standardizationof archives preservation is one part of the modernization of archives. In this part, theauthor analyze the importance of the standards, and the situation of them. Next, theauthor discuss the problems of the standards, and give some methods to resolve them.Part 4. Research on the education of archives preservation. Archives preservationneeds more professional skills than other works on archives. So enhancement theeducation is important. In this part, the author analyze the situation of preservationeducation and training. Next, the author discuss the problems of the education, andgive some methods to resolve them.Part 5. Research on the scientific research of archives preservation. The scientific research is the development power of archives preservation. In this part, theauthor analyze the importance of the scientific research and the situation of it. Next,the author discuss the problems of the scientific research, and give some methods toresolve them.At last, the author summarize the four aspects of the above. And some works weneed to enhance.
