Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Archival Preservation Education In China

Archival preservation education is to cultivate specialized talents in archival preservation.China has preserved many historical archives,which reflect the historical appearance of different periods.These archives are precious and witness the development of history.However,there are many problems with archives preservation,such as archives aging,unclear number,badly broken and so on.All these problems are in urgent need of repair.There are more than 10 million pieces of Ming and Qing historical archives in the First Historical Archives of China,and 30 percent of historical archives need to be repaired for the reason of decay and moth damage.The reason why leads to this situation is because the lack of talents in archival preservation.Archival preservation needs specialized talents and professional education.So the development of archival preservation education is the crucial factor to solve the problems.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is to introduce the concept and category of archival preservation education,research status home and abroad,research significance,innovation and defects.The second part discusses the overview of archival preservation education from education models and teaching contents.The third part analyzes the problems in current situation of archival preservation education.The forth part puts forward the solutions for the problems in archival preservation education so as to build a scientific education system and models for the development of archival preservation education of China.
