Statistical Analysis Of Academic Research On Archives Preservation In European And American Since The 1970s

Grasping the latest and most advanced academic resources of archives preservation abroad can provide valuable and meaningful reference for the research on archives preservation in China.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,the academic circles have begun to pay attention to the progress of research and practice in foreign archives preservation,they have translated some classic works of foreign archives preservation,and also introduced the progress of some foreign archives preservation research.In recent years,with the increasingly frequent exchanges of academic archives at home and abroad,special research results reflecting the current status of research on foreign archives preservation have begun to increase,such as the research of foreign electronic archives,the preservation and security of foreign digital archives resources,the research scope is mainly concentrated in European and American.Based on the background of the international "great preservation concept",this paper makes a statistical analysis of academic research on archives preservation in European and American since the 1970 s,in order to provide some reference for China's archive preservation research.This article is mainly divided into three parts.The first part is mainly about the statistical analysis of academic research documents on archive preservation in European and American,including two aspects: first,statistical analysis of journal characteristics,covering basic information such as year,country/region,journal category,etc.second,statistical analysis of academic characteristics,It involves high-frequency authors,keywords and word frequency,topic distribution and so on.The second part summarizes the five major characteristics of academic research on archives preservation in European and American,including: the Sustainable development of paper archives documents preservation research from the perspective of documentary heritage;the research on digital archives preservation is developing rapidly;Cross-sectoral and cross-border research has been outstanding;the research on archives preservation management has received due attention;pay attention to the guidance of academic research to practice and the popularization and application of achievements.The third part analyzes the characteristics of academic research on archives preservation in European and American,combines with the current status of China's current archives preservation research.It analyzes the shortcomings existing in China?s academic research on archives preservation and puts forward reasonable countermeasures based on this: paying attention to comprehensive research under the perspective of document heritage,enhancing cooperation efficiency;strengthening personnel training,strengthening the construction of research team;pay attention to the guidance of academic research on practice and the popularization and application of achievements,so as to achieve better development of academic research on archives preservation in China.
