Product In The Plm Configuration Management System Development And Applied Research

Product Lifecycle Management(PLM)is an enterprise information strategy based on the development of the product data management,it is a new management model that is to meet the needs of the manufacturing sector to products from analysis to design,manufacture,sales,use and end-of-life information of the demanding through the entire lifecycle.In the PLM system,product structure and configuration management as a major form of the product's data organization and management, make the product target and it's interlinkages together,to achieve customer at the core of the collaborative product development and production providing sharing resources and supporting,that will plays a very important role in the upgrading effectively of the manufacturing enterprises market competitiveness.The essential difference between PLM and PDM is that PLM emphasizes on product lifecycle acrossing all supply chain management and use of information. Functionally,one of the main differences is the strength of the ability to control the engineering data through the configuration management.At present,the researches of the problem about the product configuration are concentrate on the awareness and the expression of the configuration problem,configuration modeling and solving problems,the accomplishment of the configuration implementation,as well as configuration management and the management of other links.This paper bases on a lot of information studies the background,concepts and basic functions of the PLM,analyses the research and application status quo of the product structure and configuration management at home and abroad;and focus on some important problems in the product structure and configuration management, such as the structure model,the methods,the rules of the product configuration. Analyses some of the realization technology of the product configuration,these are modular technology,decision table technology and so on;at last,this paper takes one engine production plant as the background in Yunnan province,and dose an investigation and demand analysis of the business of its product structure and configuration management.According to the characteristics of the products,gives the variable configuration method based on the technology of the decision table,to each optional modules,this method defines configuration properties and conditions, then use the technology of the decision table to manage these properties and conditions. In the analyses above,this paper establishes the system structure of the engine product based on the product structure and configuration of the PLM system,dose the system design,and analysis some of the key technologies to realize the system, uses ASP.NET and SQL Server database for system development and realizes some functions in the module of product structure and configuration.
